ABOUT
I am a child portrait artist who specialises in capturing the essence of a child in a range of mediums including pencil, charcoal and paint. I am also a practicing child psychologist and my years of studying what makes children tick helps me to communicate the true spirit of their personality in my portraits. I love to draw and paint children when they are off guard or engaged in their own world of play away from the adult gaze. Here, I think the true nature of a child emerges, perhaps only glimpsed by onlookers but immediately recognisable to a loved one.
As a mother, I know the importance of those rare and treasured moments and how quickly time passes. I aim to create art that captures the love a mother, father or grandparent feels when they look at their child and to seal those memories forever.

All you need to do is email me a selection of reference photographs of your child and I will be in touch to discuss your requirements. Photographs in natural poses and good light work best. Browse my gallery above to see the range of portraits I can offer; including charcoal, digital prints, watercolour, oils and mixed media. Prices start from £95.00 and are quoted for each commission depending upon the size, medium and detail required. Only professional grade materials are used to make sure your art work lasts forever. Payment is taken in advance of delivery, and lead times are discussed at time of commissioning.
